Dont take the husband and the kids!!! Get a SPOT satellite Messanger. Bit like an eperb but more versatile
A great map - Quality Publishing Australia, shows all dirt tracks and roads etc. and the Engel, always had fresh food.
Hairdryer (joke) we did pretty well and used everything we took but probably didnt need as much fishing gear! or clothes
A Bandaid cut in half to fit a small toe! Sorry, didnt have to repair anything, luckily
Without a doubt! Kids and all!!!
Our Trip was only a short one around WA but we still did some remote traveling on desert roads and needed to be prepared for any eventuality. we didnt get too adventerous with the first trip as we had the kids and are fairly inexperienced with 4wheel driving but we gained a lot of experience and had a lot of fun and the next trip we do, we will definatley be more adventerous.
After Many false starts, we finaly set off from Mandurah on may 13th 2010 ( not a friday luckily) the weather imediatly got worse and within 30km it was raining and blowing a gale. this was to be the first night in the camper trailer and we really didnt look forward to putting it up in the rain, even though we had practiced in the back garden heaps!! by the time we got to York, the weather was really bad and it was getting late, so we "cheated" and booked into a cottage for the night! Ha! what great adventurers we are! Must say, it was a very nice cottage and we had a great first night! The Next day dawned bright and clear so we declared that the trip was officially under way and off we went
