Hi all,
I've been 'lurking' for a while now, using the site for research into overland/ expedition vehicles. The site is a mine of information, so a big thanks to all those who have taken the time to post. Some really good reading!

Sadly, we don't have the space nor time to build our own so we have been looking for a 'preloved' vehicle. And recently we found one....

Some of you will probably already know EV. She was Ian & Angela's pride and joy. For those who don't, EV is a Merc 917AF first used by the Herts Fire Brigade in 1989.

She's a little larger than our current 'camper', a VW T25 Westfalia Atlantic...

But we're used to larger vehicle as our first foray into the world of motorhoming was our trusty Hymer B694 back in 2004....

So why an Overlander? Well, after a 6 month tour of Europe including Morocco in 2015/16 and another two month tour of Morocco in 2016/17 we finally decided Wally our VW just isn't big enough for those duration's. A great vehicle and excellent camper He is, but sadly not ideal for more than 4 four weeks especially if the weather is bad.

We didn't want another motorhome as they can be quite restrictive in where you can go and after experiencing Morocco we set our hearts on an Overlander which can reach parts other don't.

So now we own EV. We will be returning to Morocco this winter but the plan is hopefully to rent out our house one day and explore the world! :D

I must thank Neil, as he's been a great help recently with info regarding EV but I'm sure as time goes by I'll be popping in for more help from you guy's.

We're currently applying for our Cat C licence and hope to see everyone at the up coming Overland show at Stratford. We went last year as it's only down the road from Leamington Spa. So fingers crossed EV will be there but if not Wally certainly will be.
