Hello.

Postby MrNero50 » Sun May 07, 2017 10:43 pm

Hello,

I came across the forum, following an email to Neil via his Cloud9 blog.

I'm a good few years from being mortgage free and currently have a motorhome. However, once we are mortgage free I want to travel the world, the world is getting smaller with the internet and I want to see some of it before I am too old.

Not sure what sort of vehicle I'm looking for and it'll be a slow burner, so I may pick your collective wisdom from time to time.

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to our little group of VERY friendly people!

We have all be at the start of a project, but none are at the end.....

We have some meetings coming up soon(ish) and you would be more than welcome to join in, there is so much to see and learn.

I also may add, get hold of a copy of this book here,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Overland-Campe ... +motorhome

By our very own Crinklystarfish! We taught him everything he knows... or was it the other way round.....

Where are you located?

Enjoy,

Brian.

Thanks for the welcome.

I have already purchased, the book! Nothing like a hard copy of books even with the advent of eReaders.

On the subject of books, what are peoples opinions on this one? https://www.selfbuildmotorhome.com/ is a good addition if I already have Steve's book?

I'm in Harrogate.

We're already planning going to the Adventure Overland Show in September. I'll be easy to spot as I'll be in a standard motorhome!

Dave
