Iveco base vehicle

Postby Waddmiester » Mon Oct 08, 2018 10:29 pm

Hi there,
After attending the AO show and seeing some of your trucks, Lorraine and I have been bitten by the bug.
Im having a look around for a base vehicle.
Does anyone have any experience of the Iveco 135 4x4?
I'm just interested to know about their suitability, longevity, spares availability etc?
Regards,
Gren Waddington.

Hi Gren

Welcome to the group.

You are now seriously in trouble. You will start the think, dream and talk truck all day. Your real friends will distance you and you will only be able to seek similar basket cases on this forum

Only joking .

Firstly it nice to get different vehicles on here.

With regard to the Iveco trucks I cannot help you specifically other than say that you never here bad things about them , which is s good sign.

I personally think they are a very underated sound truck. I am always suprised that they are not more more popular. I cannot think of a reason why.

A member by the name of Stefan who used to post on here under the name steffuk has a 4x4 eurocargo. As far as I am aware it has been a good reliable truck. It might be worth trying to send him a message, he may still be on here in the background.

In addition to this, what I can say is that during my last year travelling in South America I have seen dozens of Iveco dealers in many countries so I think their world wide network is pretty good too.

Good luck

Neil

Neil,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, friends and work colleagues are becoming increasing bored of my overlander project and constant talk of trucks etc.
I've had a couple of Iveco vans before and they have been great.
Thanks again for your positive response.
