The key item in an adventure truck conversion appears to be a meaty looking bit of girder converted to a front bumper with a winch shoved in somewhere.

The best one I saw all show tried to park in with The Overlander crew Saturday morning in some kind of a VW with the flimsiest looking bright orange framework pop riveted to various bits of the body and looking like an impact with a fast moving pheasant would take the whole lot off. Cherry on the cake with that one was an orange painted trenching tool of dubious origins sort of attached to the front bonnet with more bits of old tin-can bent around it and pop riveted into place. Sometimes it's hard not laugh.

Oh Lord, I'm managed to strike that VW thing from my memory - thanks for reminding me  I'm not sure what on earth that roll cage thing was meant to do, part from catch on stuff. Apparently its been featured in a post-apocalypse movie, would you believe?!?
