Thanks for the ideas I already have a slide out two rung ladder for quick access or use when I don’t want the steps on the ground but I am also thinking about some inclined steps.

I have been at home a couple of months now and following my trip to Bad Kissingen i have managed to get some motivation and have made some progress. Just taken some photos to send to dvla to re-register the truck as a motor home. Hopefully it will all go smoothly. The truck is far from finished but is getting there the accommodation is about 80% done with the only major job left being the bathroom , i am making my own wet room floor to go in there and a composting toilet, and trimming all the edges/ corners etc. Also I have to sort out the outside kitchen slide out .
The biggest jobs left are the truck cab / engine electrics, nothing is connected , and fitting out the cab which is completely empty. All that will be left then is the MOT I am hoping by the start of Sept ....fingers crossed!!
Oh and i found some access steps just need a bit of modification to make them fit .

Looks tidy - nice use of the space. Good luck with the re-registration.

Hope your re-registration goes ok.
Our registration of our imported vehicle had to be with a current MOT which we had done on the chassis number. After that it was relatively easy to get the registration completed.
Good luck.

Thanks its just changing it from an agricultural vehicle to a motor home so hopefully there wont be any problems. Not sure how long it will take i am hoping to have it on the road by the end of the month but that maybe optimistic.
