Funny you should mention lights, I have just been "talking" to a friend, Simon, about just such things....

I did say to him that I have used my top mounted search light on a few occasions both on and off the road....

I have to also admit that I find the original lights OK..... having said that, I did change mine for some none directional units, so maybe they are a little bit better.... no idea!

If you need to find a company to make your side lockers, then there is a chap that has made quite a few of our boxes, excellent quality, but as he is so good at it, he can be a bit difficult to nail down!

Phil, Paul, myself have all used him..... top work, but knowing you, you already have someone lined up!

Also talking to Simon yesterday, I think he may be paying you a visit at some point in the near future to look at you exhaust brake? He has just told me his ferry form Ireland has been delayed 4 hours due to bad weather..... wimps!

I've spoke to Simon. We have exchanged contact details.
Hes very intrested in the exhaust brake.

As you guessed I know a few very good fabricators. One being in the same Yard in which I rent some storage space.
Also another company called metalics. They make Some very good side lockers.

Im considering led head lights from a land rover. But need to see some in the flesh before I commit. I'd quite like a pair of those remote operated search lights on the roof. For distance lighting. As I already have 8 work light all around the truck.

Matalics UK is the company I was referring to, up in York.....

As for the search lights, do you mean like mine? Radio controlled and VERY useful.

That's always promising to hear you have used them Before. I've only seen a Few Mounted on recovery trucks.

Won't be going for chequer plate as I can't stand the stuff. Even tho I have a chequer plate load bed.

Yes, radio controlled. Led autolamps Do a very nice led one. But does come with a nice price tag too.
