He also informed me about the Viaduct that was filmed in the Harry Potter film is up here! I found out I drove past it yesterday! Bugger! It also turns out that the railway near to where I am now parked, was also used in the movie..... funny what you find out AFTER you have moved on....

Ha ha, I know exactly what you mean Brain. I got a photo of the Sprinter in a nice layby overlooking some typically nice Scottish scenery, only to later realise it was overlooking that viaduct in Happy Potter.

I maintain I still hadn't seen Happy Potter then

I must clarify.....

I had just been on a tour of the Crauchan Hydro-electric power station, the "Hollow Mountain" station, as told to me by Steve.

I then decided it would be a good idea to go and visit the Loch that supplies the water.... It is a 3.4 mile up hill walk and about 1300 foot climb.... trouble is I started too late and just managed to get to the Loch when it was getting dark.... the walk back down was somewhat quicker!

The track is perfectly drive-able, but you are not allowed to even start to drive it as a sign tells you right at the bottom, it is a shame, as there are some great parking places along the track, which I assume were usable at some point.

Maybe people did use them and left a mess, so it was banned, or it could be the track is just too small to be used by more than one vehicle at a time, and not that much parking room at the dam itself.... still a shame though, but one must abide by the rules or we will all loose the right to pretty much go where you like, and I thank the authorities in Scotland for that, a real pleasure to really see the countryside up here!

Great to see you out and about Brian.

Meanwhile, back in Stratford upon Avon.

Is anyone going to the spring show, if so who ?

We're a possible, though not in the MAN.
I could maybe have it with an empty box, but the logistics of getting it legal would be time consuming, plus we'd probably head for Europe after - if we can still get in!
