Well Chuffed

Postby Ivan C » Mon Feb 20, 2017 5:21 pm

After 3 days of tuition I passed my C test this morning - I've had a silly grin ever since :D

Thanks Guys, it was a pretty full-on 3 days but I had a good tutor and a nearly new DAF auto to do it in,

Does this mean your class C licence is for automatics only or manual as well

Unlike the car test there's no restriction :)

Fantastic

Now you mention it I took my HGV test in the morning in a Manual and my Bus licence later that day in an automatic and my bus licence has no restrictions .

Well Done

Makes some sense, hardly any new trucks are fully manual any more.

Sorry, but I disagree.. :D If you can drive an auto it doesn't mean you could handle for instance, a Eaton- splitter equipped truck , although your licence says you can. It would be a recipe for an accident if you tried. No disrespect intended. There are plenty of older, manual vehicle around. I think it's wrong.
