Five Quick Questions

Best Gadget

Maybe not a gadget but, half the rear wall folds down to form a deck & the top half goes up as an awning. This adds the illusion of a lot more space, also a lot of fresh air!

Best Space Saver

Slide away toilet; slide away washing machine; slide away hand basin.

Can't do without...

Diesel powered room & water heater.

Trips Planned

A few short (3-4 weeks) in the near future, then away for months at a time.

Dream Vehicle

I think I have it.....

Man o Man

NewMAN 13.280

What made you choose this one?
Cab/chassis was available at a discounted price without wait. If it is good enough for Unicat & Action mobil to use MAN, it is good enough for me!

Main criteria for this project?
To be able to go anywhere I want, for as long as I want! To be totally self-sufficient for at least 4weeks.

Modifications undertaken?
I have built the body from the chassis up. I've added 1. an extra 220 ltr diesel tank 2. power-take-off to drive an hydraulic winch & lift for the towing assembly

What would you do differently?
No sliding bits.
