Its been a stressfull few weeks, no one writes about how to condense the contents of a 3 bedroom house into a lorry and a storage unit, and trying to sell as much as you can. Not easy !

The lorry is'nt finished but we had to make a break from the lakes. We moved out of the house at the end of August into a caravan at our muddy wood yard to sort our stuff out and get the lorry painted.

We are now in Lincolnshire visiting relatives before heading across the water.

The indicators packed in on the way down and the truck has started running hot so we are just waiting for a recon radiator to be fitted. Its life on the road now, fixing and solving problems as we go after the comfort of service providers we have got to know and trust.

As Andra said on our first night away (in a services on the M1) we have made ourselves more vulnerable being out of the comfort of normal life, but the feeling of total freedom that morning is worth it all.
